And now, the result is the Russian Federation recognizing the independence of Donbass (Novorossiya):
And now, the expected European suicide.
By recognizing the independence of Novorossiya (Donbass), Putin finally opted for the problematic solution he had been resisting for these long 8 years. Althought a longlasting request from Novorossiya's people, Putin knew very well the very negative consequences of such decision (for example, a Western push for the independence of Taiwan, etc).
Yet, with this new Anglo-Saxon terror campaign against Novorossiya, Putin was left with no other option. Furthermore, by recognizing the independence of Novorossiya, Putin just created a double insurance for the lives of the people of Donbass.
Firstly, with this decision, Russia can and already has Russian peacekeeping forces inside the separatist republics. Like in the case of Georgia 2008, Ukraine shelling Russian peacekeeping forces would trigger the anihilation of the Ukrainian armed forces. By other words, now Anglo-Saxons and Ukrainians have to stop the aggression on Novorossiya.
Secondly, this decision brings the "reason" for suicidal Europeans to finally abandon North Stream II for good. In this case, the shelling of Donbass as a mean to convince Russia to "invade Ukraine" is now obsolete.
