Censorship on Facebook
There was a time when alternative media outlets like Russia Today and Telesur didn't exist. And there was a time when independent journalists like my self didn't exist or didn't have something called the internet. But now they do exist. And now we do have access to the internet.
Faced with the freedom of expression now available to all of us, the Mainstream Lying Media that in the past used to constantly tell us the most outrageous lies (fake news) leading to war, death and misery, now, poor them, they feel the need to call 'fake news' to real news supported by hard evidence, because these so-called 'fake news' (telling the factual truth) do expose their on very real fake news.
And, because it is not enough, their angelical Facebook feels the obligation to censor every single true news shared by people well-informed and aware of the false news spread by the Mainstream Lying Media.
Stupidity on Facebook
An advertisement in Australia and in the UK, paid by Facebook, says that "Fake news is not our friend"!
What to say about this pathetic campaign of a company that censors real news and real facts, while promoting lies fitting the US Imperial and criminal rhetoric?
Well, right, not your "friend" but rather your best friend! Or, not your friend but yourself! Oh man, this is indeed a clear example of Orwellian newspeak. They lost control of it. They are now exposing themselves. What a shame!
Facebook's Newspeak
Facebook became a top expert on censorship and on Orwellian newspeak. In a previous article of mine (Fuck Facebook, fuck Zuckerberg), I explained several of the technics Facebook uses to hide the truth and create their own Orwellian false truth-truth. Today I will focus on my favorite: to call "spam" to what is not spam!
A few days ago I shared on my Facebook wall the following sentence and video:
SAA (with some part of the 9th Division) on the Jordanian Border (Nasib)
As you can clearly see, I was just saying that the Syrian Arabs Army had reached the border with Jordan and, because I don't work to lying bullshit media like BBC or The Guardian, I shared a factual video proving what I affirmed!
Moreover, in that video, we can also watch Syrian civilians celebrating the LIBERATION of their homeland by their BELOVED Syrian Arab Army.
Inconvenient truths as this one are not welcomed on Facebook. Facebook is there to convince us of a parallel false reality in which Assad is bad, Putin is bad and the sky is green. Good for them, ZuckBrother and friends!
And so yes, ZuckBrother's Facebook DELETED my post and sent me a message to Orwellianly "inform me" that:
We removed this post because it looks like spam and doesn't follow our Community Standards"
The problem is: a non-spam thing called POST, shared on my OWN Facebook wall, can't possibly be labeled as SPAM you damn Orwellian zombies! Try again please! And do it better, because spam is spam, and non-spam is not spam!
After this blatant example of CENSORSHIP, Facebook informed me that I could select one of the following options:
If I chose 'I didn't Post This', Facebook will help me secure my account:
Great big NOTHING.
If I chose 'This Isn't Spam', no, Facebook will not say mea culpa and fix this supposed mistake. On the contrary, they will go on with their Orwellian censorship, insisting on using their beloved newspeak.
They will insist that my person sharing a Youtube video in my own FaceBrother is 'spam'. Just as in Orwell's 1984, they offer themselves to explain to me why they are absolutely right and why I am absolutely wrong.
Again, as in Orwell's 1984, they offer themselves to help me get rid of my pathologic nonconformist perspective. I must be cured of dissent, in the pursuit of the absolute consensus around the truth-truth: Assad is Bad, Putin is Bad and The Sky is Green...
